[PREPARE] FOR THE FAIR
Congratulations! You've decided to attend the 2016 UC Davis Design Career Fair! We know you'll have a blast and meet many wonderful UCD Designers. To make the most of your visit, we've compiled some useful information below:
[BEFORE] The Fair
Register for the fair,
If someone on our Outreach Team has not sent you the secret registration form, please contact us as soon as possible. We need your registration to ensure, among other things, that your table is the right size and your breakfast and lunch are prepared to your liking!Decide what to bring,
We suggest your team brings...- A company banner
- Brochures or informational flyers regarding open company positions
- A sign-up sheet for students interested in company updates
- Materials to foster engagement (one 2015 company brought a button maker and students left wearing their logo)
- Fun freebies (for example, a company brought their own branded ginger beer)
- A folder to collect resumes, etc.
- Light sweaters or jackets for brisk Davis mornings and A/C indoors
- Laptop chargers, for those bringing computers
- Breakfast when you arrive
- Lunch at noon
- 8’ x 2.5’ tables with table skirts
- 2-4 chairs
- Outlets for your electronics
- Company banners, if needed (Please let us know in advance so we can print yours)

Get to the fair,
Driving on Interstate 80, (from West or East):- Look for signs for California 113 North towards Woodland.
- Take ramp onto CA 113 North.
- After merging with 113 North, keep right.
- Take Exit 27 towards UC Davis.
- Merge onto Hutchinson Dr.
- Turn left onto La Rue Rd.
- Turn right onto Orchard Rd.
- Orchard Rd turns into Parking Lot 25, park here!

Park at the ARC,
An all-day parking permit can be purchased from the yellow kiosks at the entrance to Lot 25 for $9.Come On In!
The building at the West end of Lot 25 is the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). The northern of the two entrances facing Lot 25, pictured below, leads to the ballrooms - where you'll find the 2016 UC Davis Design Career Fair! Welcome!
